The hostel vibe was really nice, especially with those few rooms above the cafe. The separate bathrooms were very clean and convenient. I loved that we got a discount to the sento nearby—such a great addition to our stay! The location couldn’t be better, being right by the port made our travels seamless. On the downside, there was only one toilet and one shower for all the women on our floor, which led to some waiting times after our cycling. Checking in at 3 PM was a bit late, especially since we arrived hot and sweaty and couldn’t shower until then. Dining options were limited too. the hotel's restaurant was the only nearby choice and was pricier with fewer options. Overall, a lovely place but with some room for improvement.

Check-in time was an inconvenience at 16:00, especially after a long day of cycling—15:00 would typically be more standard. The mattress in the room felt very uncomfortable, resembling something from a budget stay rather than the quality expected at a higher price point of $126 a night, which left me tossing and turning instead of resting.

The muffin and coffee served were surprisingly good, making for a nice, quick bite before getting on with the day. The dinner offered was wonderful, showcasing a decent menu and overall quality.

A single toilet and shower for females on the upper floor created inconvenience during peak times, and we had to wait until 3 PM for check-in after arriving post-cycling adventure. The only dining option nearby was the hotel's restaurant, which closed early and had a limited, pricey menu.

Loved the stunning design blending modern and traditional styles. The restaurant served cozy dishes, perfect after cycling the Shimanami Kaido. Staff was super helpful, even carrying my luggage up the stairs.

After a refreshing day of cycling, I loved the beautifully designed room that welcomed me, and being able to shower off before heading to a cozy dinner was just perfect. the stunning views made every moment even better.

Staff were super friendly and helpful,, the place was super clean and just so well set up. Plus, being close to the Setoda ferry port made our exploration easy and convenient.

Just an ideal choice for a fleeting pause in Onomichi with best value. The staff were really helpful and accommodating during my stay. Make sure to check out the views at sunset if you can.
